Certified in September 2006 by the Government of Guangdong Province as an industrial transfer park and located in Wanxiang Industrial Town within Yangdong Economic Development Zone, Foshan Chancheng (Yangdong Wanxiang) Industrial Transfer Park has been jointly established by the People's Government of Chancheng District of Foshan City and the People's Government of Yangdong County with a total planned land area of 680 hectares. Based on a requirement of high starting point, high standard and high grade, it is planned to consist of such numerous functional districts as electronic appliances, electric equipment and machinery, food and pharmacy, new materials, furniture and hardware and etc., which is oriented to a ‘ecological type, hi-tech type, tax-based type’ industrial transfer park. Investment and development of projects focus on industries like electronics, household electric appliances, machinery, pharmaceuticals, foods, new materials and other industries with low power consumption, low pollution high technological content and a strong drive capacity so as to emerge into a modern industrial park integrating production with living and ecology.

　　So far, a land area over 2.37 million sq. m. of the Park has been developed. And 44 enterprises have been settled in. The settled enterprises are mainly involved in such industries as hardware, printing & packaging, plastics, aquatic products processing, wood-based panel and etc. 31 of them have been put into production, and 6 are under construction. The total investment value reaches RMB 189 million Yuan. The total production value of the industrial park is RMB290 million Yuan and total taxation exceeded is RMB 64.69 million Yuan in 2010.
